Turkey Egg Sandwich

This fall I partnered with Double L Ranch Meats and they wanted me showcase an ultimate back to school sandwich. I always like working with Double L Ranch Meats because not only are their meats delicious, but I know where it’s coming from, and it is always fresh. So they sent me some mesquite smoked turkey lunch meat and I made one of my favorite sandwiches (when I have a little extra time on my hands). Because let’s be honest, when I’m running late my sandwiches usually just consist of some meat, cheese, and mayo slapped on some bread haphazardly and thrown in a bag. So enjoy this elevated sandwich and don’t be shy with the ingredients. The thicker the better!

Turkey Egg Sandwich


  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • mayo
  • mustard
  • pimento cheese
  • Double L Ranch Turkey Lunch meat
  • 1 Egg
  • Provolone
  • 1/2 Avocado


  • Spread mayo on one side of both pieces of bread. Toast bread in pan on the stove, mayo side down until they are golden brown.
  • Spread your favorite mustard on one slice of bread (the untoasted side) and pimento cheese on the other slice of bread.
  • Crack your egg into a pan on the stove, flip when edges turn white, place provolone cheese on top, and cook for 30-60 seconds. 
  • Add lunch meat, avocado, and egg to your bread and top with the other slice of bread.
